PVSA Awards and Application
Every year, our members spend hours of their time contributing to the well-being of their community. To recognize their efforts, the students can apply to a national service award, known as the President's Volunteer Service Award (PVSA). Criteria
Individuals, families and groups that meet the criteria are eligible for the PVSA.

Recipient(s) must be a United States citizen or a lawfully admitted permanent resident of the United States.

Recipient(s) must be a registered Music4America member for the year of application.

Awards are issued for service hours served between Aug 1, 2023 - July 31, 2024.

Awards are issued for volunteer service only

Recipient(s) must fulfill a minimum of 20 volunteer hours in Music4America organized volunteer events for the corresponding award.

Recipient(s) must apply for the award before the deadline.

Application Requirements
If you are eligible for the President’s Volunteer Service Award, please prepare and email all signed documents to M4a.pvsa@gmail.com. Please add M4A PVSA 2024 - applicant’s name in the subject line.

The deadline for the 2024 PVSA application is Aug 20, 2024.

M4A is a certified 501(c)(3) organization, which means it is eligible to give volunteer hours that contribute to a PVSA applicant's total service hours. Other certified organizations can also give eligible hours. For more information, please read the official PVSA site here.
