Co-President: Kevin Phongsa
My name is Kevin Phongsa and I’m a senior at DVHS. As the new Co President for M4A, my goals are to find more opportunities for us to share our passion and also to find more people who want to join us. I’ve actively participated in M4A for roughly six years: playing at concerts, organizing fundraisers, or tutoring music theory! I’m always willing to listen and talk to someone, so feel free to reach out whether it be about music, math, or media!
Co-President: Alex Tang
Hey, I’m Alex! I’m currently a junior at Amador Valley and also an M4A Co-President. I’ve been in M4A for around 5 years now and helped tutor kids in math during my tenure as the math division leader and spread my passion for music when I was leading performances at senior centers. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music and podcasts, playing the cello, and reading. This year, I hope to bring our work to an even bigger community and bring an even more diverse program.
VP of External: Amelia Im
Hi! My name is Amelia Im and I will be a senior at Dublin High School in the upcoming 2024-25 school year. I’m excited to be part of the M4A leadership board, serving as the Vice President of External Affairs. I’ve been a part of M4A for around three years, and look forward to working towards its growth. In my free time, I enjoy playing violin, reading, drawing, and taking care of plants. This year, I plan to bring new and exciting volunteer opportunities to our members.
VP of Internal: Annelise Im
Hello! My name is Annelise Im and I am a senior at Dublin High School. I have been playing the cello for 8 years, and have been a member of the M4A Orchestra and the Oakland Symphony Youth Orchestra for 3 years. This year, I will be on the leadership board as your Vice President of Internal Affairs. When I’m not playing cello, I enjoy volunteering at the Dublin SPCA and baking. This year, I would like to facilitate the growth of our organization and work with the younger members to develop their leadership skills.

Hello! I am Hana Kim, a rising senior at California High School. I will be serving as the M4A secretary and M4A Orchestra leader for this 2024~2025 school year. I have been part of this organization, Music4america, for over five years by playing the violin, being an MC, making COVID test kits, recording videos, and performing for senior centers. I am excited for yet another year of sharing our passion for music throughout our community.
Treasurer: Nathan Xu
My name is Nathan Xu (Class of 2026) and I will be a junior at Quarry Lane. I have been with Music 4 America for around 2 years and look forward to becoming the Treasurer of M4A. I started practicing piano when I was 5 years old and some of my hobbies include basketball, drawing, and playing with my cat. This year I hope to make a positive impact on the local community while sharing the importance of music.
Webmaster: Pingyao Liu
Hi everyone! I'm Pingyao and I'm a senior at Dublin High School. I've been in the M4A orchestra as a violinist for the past two years and I will be your webmaster. I've played piano for 7 years and violin for 6 years. In my free time, I enjoy playing my instruments, watching shows, and talking with my friends. I look forward to working with my fellow officers and expanding the organization.

Hi! My name is Jasmine Ye and I am the Director of Photography and Video Production of Music4America for this year. This is my fifth year at M4A. I am 14 years old and a freshman at QLS. For about 9 years, I have played piano and violin. My hobbies include reading, writing, drawing and swimming. I also love playing with my cats. I hope everyone at M4A will have a spectacular year!
Director of Communications: Zhiyu (Yuzie) Qi
Hello, my name is Zhiyu Qi(Yuzie). I am the director of communications, and I am becoming a junior at Dougherty Valley High School. This is my second year in M4A. I can speak three languages and have learned speech&debate since elementary school. I am very extroverted, we can be friends!
Publicist Lead: Annabelle Miin
Hello! My name is Annabelle Miin and I’m a senior from Saratoga. I’ve been with M4A for 4 years and I look forward to continuing to be the Publicist Lead this year. I’ve played piano for 8 years and sung for 9 years. Aside from music, I also enjoy dancing, reading, and shopping. I’m excited about the future of M4A and eager to see where our journey takes us next!

Hey! My name is Cathy Zhao and I am super excited to be one of your music program directors this year. I’m currently a senior in high school and I’ve been in Music4America for around 4 years now. I’m also part of M4A’s orchestra as a violinist. Some of my hobbies include listening to music, baking, and shopping. I hope that this year, our programs can reach and help even more people.

Senior Center Leader: Michael Macri
Hello, I’m Michael Macri. I am a rising Sophomore at De La Salle High School and one of the two Senior Center Leaders for this year. I have been playing piano for over 10 years, and I’ve been a member of Music4America for over 6 years. I look forward to continuing my musical journey and spreading more joy to those we perform.

Hi I’m Annie. I am an incoming senior at Monte Vista High School and I am so happy to be one of the senior center leaders this year. With 7 years of singing experience, I cherish every joyful moment spent sharing the melodies with others. I love karaoke, listening to music, and making new friends. I also have a quirky love for sniffing animals and capturing fun moments with 0.5 pictures. Being part of M4A allowed me to connect with amazing people who also share passion for music. This year, I hope to create a welcoming environment where everyone can experience the transformative impact of music.
Junior Officer: Anastasia Miin
Hi! My name is Anastasia Miin and I am thrilled to be a junior officer this year. I am an incoming freshman at Saratoga High and this is my first year with M4A. I’ve been singing for most of my life, winning the NATS SF grand prize, USIMC 1st place, and VOCE State 1st place awards. I’ve also been playing piano for as long as I can remember, and earned the ARSM piano diploma a couple years ago. This year, I hope to share my passion for music with others!
Junior Officer: Olivia Luan
Hi my name is Olivia Luan! I am a sophomore at Amador Valley High School, and I am one of your junior officers this year at M4A. This is my second year at M4A, and I am looking forward to participating more in this organization. I have been playing the piano for 11 years, but I also enjoy playing the bass, shopping, cheering, and hanging out with my friends. I’m very excited for our community at M4A to grow, and I hope we can continue spreading music to others!
